mattslist will aim to promote active and informed citizenship through a student-generated online forum that facilitates cooperation and information exchange within the Vassar community. The goal is to provide a communication tool that creates an overall awareness of the community’s interests and concerns and meets its needs.

I definitely think that the basic craigslist features like buying, selling and housing should be present in matts list. but if there was also an event area that would be fantastic, as i feel that its often hard to find out about events going on outside of your personal bubble. also, perhaps an area for student orgs to post their meeting times as it can be hard to find out what is going on where if you've never been to a meeting before.

i agree with anon 3:47. having one place for all on-campus events would be really handy.
ReplyDeletei like the idea about campus orgs. it seems like unless you sign up during freshman orientation, you never find out about any meetings!
